Lined by spruces of shadows, I stand in front of the endless path
Amidst of my inner cold wood
I start my ultimate journey and with every taken step I reach closer to my aim
my doubts get dispelled by stepping into a new realm,
which feels weird old known
Why do I know, why do I know it is the only way
The past is fading away and my memory is passing me by like nocturnal shadows
Why should I ask the world for any new offering when the longing for my journey sets me free
I follow my craving to be no longer here – I will disappear
And left everything behind – all feelings fade away
A wanderer who beholds only the cryptic night
By searching for the eternal stars – soon I will arrive
sinking in endless thicket of no time I lay down at the end of my path
and now I blow out my wandering light

on old trails
long orphaned
now hidden grows the all-swallowing oblivion –
lays a veil as shroud
night shall fall for this place
which is now the temple of fallen leaves

Call Of The Woods
A wind blows through the branches, a whisper that speaks to me
The trees speak without wording and only a few will understand
I follow his devotional calling and surrender to his might
I breathe a thousand exhalations by becoming one with him
All around, cold and silent, the trees spread their leaves
And I feel, mute leaning, that I am deeply secure
Nothing more, just being, on my own, but not alone
A circle that closes - it is a dying before I awake
nacreous, luster, flutter, encircles me
obscuring shadows, growing darkness
amalgamation to ancient knowledge
a possession that binds me in my soul
The trees have waited for me consistently, I've been gone for so long, maybe I never really was there
I feel a strong desire to stay here. Banish the troubled spark of time from the roof of the eternal shadow.
I look down on your hundredfold death but I don't will be shudder because you always will persist
But I am just a human and soon I will fall in eternal sleep,
So as it do like your lost rotten leaves
All around, cold and silent, the trees spread their leaves
And I feel, mute leaning, that I am deeply secure

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity. Favorite Track(s): Die Feuertaufe, Grabenlieder

I love the books Tannöd, Krabat and the film Nordwand. Gràb's music captures the mood perfectly. Just my opinion. Love it!

Really liked the raw style with very well-crafted melodies, the raspy vocals and every bit of the gloomy atmosphere, reminiscent of Rimruna, Krael and Dauþuz, to cite a few raw BM German bands I also like a lot. This one is a 4-track EP remaining under half-an-hour of punchy rawness
